National Arab American Heritage Month: The 2025 national theme for celebrating National Arab American Heritage Month is “Honoring the Past and Inspiring the Future.” This year’s theme recognizes the valuable contributions and significance of Arab American men and women to America’s past, present, and future.

A total of 39 students were inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS). These individuals have demonstrated outstanding scholarship, responsibility, service, and leadership.
WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD: The Week of the Young Child®, established by the NAEYC in 1971, is an annual celebration that highlights the needs of young children and their families while recognizing early childhood programs. It emphasizes the importance of the early years (birth to age 8) in laying the foundation for future success. This week encourages communities to plan how to better support young children's needs.

The fifth-grade students walked to their designated "build site" at the Korean War Memorial Park to brainstorm and generate ideas for their eMerge project designs. Their task is to create an eco-friendly school within Minecraft, while also addressing climate crisis challenges facing downtown Jersey City. In their designs, students will incorporate various forms of clean energy, aiming to create a sustainable and forward-thinking solution.
On Friday, April 11th, fourth and fifth grade students met with their pen pals from McNair Academic High School. The students have been exchanging letters and finally had the chance to meet in person, talk, and participate in some activities. Some of the McNair students even used to be Bradford Bears!
