Google's CSFirst - This computer science curriculum which utilizes the Scratch platform also focuses on major concepts, vocabulary, and skills tied to the English Language Arts curriculum such as Characterization, Dialogue, Narration, Figurative Language, and Storytelling. (Grades 4-8)
Elementari - This platform allowed students to read, write, code, share, and remix interactive stories. You can ask for free access during school closures here. (Grades K-12)
History/Social Studies
Google's CSFirst - The CSFirst curriculum ties into multiple subjects and allows students to learn coding through Scratch. Consider how students could build an Interactive Presentation about an historical event or figure. Students could use the Narration lesson to narrate historical events or use the Code Your Hero activity to code a historical figure. (Grades 4-8)
Science
Scratch - There are over a hundred different projects shared in Scratch dealing with Science. Look over these examples to inspire creative ways to use Scratch coding with Science (Grades K-12).
