In the spring semster of 2024, I ran out of honors class options as this semester became very heavily based in my core social work classes. Because of this, I completed my first honors contract! While this was sort of intimidating for me, I feel very proud of the final product that I developed with my classmate. This project allowed me to digest a piece of legislation surrounding a social welfare policy issue that I was passionate about and share my findings with the public in the form of a website. This project helped me to feel more comfortable reading legislation and knowing the proper ways to research it to grasp a better understanding of it.
