This class is beneficial to me as it helps me to understand the foundation of human societies and belief systems of the ancient world. This is important as many of the concepts that we see in the ancient world we also see today in modern day society.

This class is the pre-requesite requirement to the acceptance process at the Indiana University School of Social Work. That makes this class a fundamental milestone in my degree path as it has taught me the many ways that generalist social workers are involved in practicum in the real world.

This class has pushed me to think critically and analyze many different parts of our world. It also allows me creative and intellectual liberty to really branch out and spread my ideas amongst my classmates to build my skills in discussion settings and critical thinking.

Cultural anthropology has really helped me to better understand other culture's coming from a stance of cultural humility. It has helped me learn different ways to embrace difference in other cultures which is useful to social work practice.

This class has given me a lot of opportunities to reflect on myself and what it means to be an honors scholar while also connecting me with several useful resources that I have access to as an honors scholar.
