I was accepted to IUPUI in the summer of 2021 as a university college student. My original intention was to come to IUPUI to study Business Administration at Kelley School of Business. I later decided that this would not be a good path for me and my goal as a person in society is to help others. I finally decided to study Social Work as this would give me every opportunity to do so regardless of the field that I end up in. It wasn't until the end of my senior year of high school that I realized how much of an impact my advisor had on my academics in high school and how inspiring she was to me as a student and for that I am eternally grateful. She inspired me to go into Social Work and move into the field of education. 

I graduated Valedictorian in high school, and I always pushed myself to try harder in whatever it was that I was doing. This is what prompted me to apply to the honors college in the fall of 2021. I was eventually accepted as a Chancellors honors scholar, and I have worked very hard to uphold this standard.
