Head Chair

Hi, my name is Amaya Lilles and I’m a senior at International School Manila. I’ve participated in MUN since freshman year, and this will be my third IASAS and 9th conference. At last year’s IASAS that was hosted by ISM, I was a member of the executive team so I’m very excited to have been given the position of head chair for this year’s Human Rights Committee. I’m excited to chair alongside Maddie so we can hopefully bring you guys a fun and fulfilling conference, especially with this year’s issues up for debate. Aside from my longtime interest in international relations, I love travelling, listening to music, and art! If you have any questions about IASAS this year, feel free to reach out, and see you all soon.

Deputy Chair

Hi, my name is Madeline Suindah, and I am delighted to be serving as one of the HRC chairs this year! I am currently a junior at Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS). This conference will be my second time attending IASAS MUN and my first time chairing. Last year at IASAS MUN, I represented France in NATO. I specifically wanted to chair the HRC because of the exciting yet controversial issues that were assigned this year. Personally, MUN has served as an excellent way for me to learn more about current events, improve my public speaking skills, and meet new people. Aside from MUN, I love reading, traveling, participating in service, and calligraphy. I am very excited to meet you all soon, and I look forward to a great debate.
