Something that sparks my imagination is music and films because listening to music will inspire me and when I am playing or creating music I feel relaxed. You can see this by the note on the little girl's shirt and the word "film" on the left side of the drawing. One place I would draw my mural on is maybe a wall outside of a school because I think this drawing would make the seeker wonder and could make the audience more creative because it is very colourful. Another place I would draw my mural is maybe outside an art classroom because on my drawing there is a pencil which maybe represents the people who are going to the art class to draw and make them have more creativity on their drawing. In my idea, I use a pencil to describe how I like drawing. I think this was successful I think this will inspire people to be more creative.
Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is weird things and special things. I also like colorful things. You can see this in my mural ideas by a dancing dog, a statue that is made with cristal and a book that can walk and can talk, also a rainbow that is really colorful. One place I would paint my mural at the wall of my bedroom. The meaning or purpose would be every time I feel angry or worried about something, I could look at this drawing and I would feel better by looking at the drawing I drew. Another place I would paint my mural is on the wall of the dog park. The meaning or purpose would be showing that this is a park for dogs to play or have fun with other dogs. In my idea, I’ve used a book that could walk and a dog that can dance, to communicate every thing have it's idea.
Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is thinking about the futuristic city in the futures. You can see this in my mural ideas by looking at the cities I draw in the left side. I try to simulate the led colors by making gradient colors. One place I would paint my mural is around a big blank wall in the side of a busy street so . The meaning would be to make people waiting in the trafic think about the future world. Another place I would paint my mural is behind a wall facing apartments. The meaning/purpose would be incourding people in the apartment to look down and thing about positive better future. In my idea, I’ve used blank part of the world to communicate ideas for the future. I think this was successful because I shown the future city clearly.
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is the ocean because it is very colorful and bright and also dark and mysteriousish at the same time. You can see this in my mural because I have an ocean environment on my wall, but I picked the brighter side of theocean to make it more colorful. One place I would paint my mural on is a random wall outside or inside ocean park because ocean park is full of ocean creatures and the theme is the sea. I think with my mural on there it not only makes ocean park look better, but it is relevant to the theme and benefits it because it represents ocean park. Another place I would paint my mural is on the wall of the yacht club clubhouse outside the cadet room, because the yacht club looks too formal, and most of the sailors there are small children. The cadet room is where sailors have briefing, so I think that adding a colorful mural will be relevant to the yacht club, and also add some color to the building. In my mural, I've used the bubbles and the ocean animals to represent the water. I think this was successful because my end product looks alot like underwater.
Something that sparks my imagination for art is 3D objects and random shapes because the combination of shapes can create objects and good variation of drawings. My imagination is also sparked by illusions because 2-3 drawings above are all illusion pictures that I love to create on my own. You can see that I used the 3D objects a lot, basically everything in my drawing are made out of 3D objects, especially the squares on the top right corner. For some drawings, I didn't color them in because I found that all of the little drawings have a variety of colors and blending so I thought I could probably create something that look black and white to have a balance. I would want to paint this picture by the sideway of my house because whenever I go to school or go out somewhere. The picture will always be seen by my eyes and seeing it everyday will give me a good mood and a good "creativity and imagination" brain. Another place I would paint this is beside the houses of poor and not as advanced people. I want to do this because the poor people can still see something colorful, something to brighten their mood, not always worrying about stress for not having enough money. This picture also even might inspire other people to start drawing these pictures to influence other people in the country, in the continent, and in the world. Then the world will become a peaceful, good, and grateful world. I didn't really use many parts of the wall because there were barely any parts and textures on the paper. But I think i did well on coloring the bricks because the colors were very well put together and I also used the walkway as the base for a 3D invisible building thats black white black white.
Something that sparks my imagination is the currently developing modern technology and the rise of doge coin, bitcoin and other technological software functions. You can see this inside my mural because I have transformed the doors of my original picture into like a processing computer and made the theme all about technology. (mostly hardware because it's hard to draw software). One place I would paint my mural in hong kong is more of a blank wall with perhaps a door or two on the wall because I thought of the idea of making the walls into a kind of like processing computer. I forgot to align and outline some bits of my drawing like the modern technology looking fighter jet and the rocket ship about to take off but that possibly adds even more interest and curiosity into the drawing to make it a little more colorful because I don't have much vibrant bright colors. Another place I might put my mural is one the floor or on the ceiling of a building or even my home because not many paintings and murals are drawn and ceilings and floors so it might be the start of a new trend. The meaning of putting it on the ceiling or on the floor is the add kind of like the satisfactory background sensation so on the ground some grime and dirt make cover it either making it cooler and maybe on the ceiling a chandelier will cover it when it is on the ceiling. In my idea I used the wall three different textures, a brick wall, a smooth flat stone door and another different colored brick wall in the background, I used this to communicate the fact that modern technology is take over the world and to show this, we can paint different aspects and small ideas to create a bigger, better idea, which creates a collection of ideas to make a successful, thoughtful mural.
something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is doodle patterns and different abstract and unusual images graffiti artists normally show to express emotions. You can see it in my mural, where I have used a lot of different doodle pattern techniques/skills. As well as that, I also drew some random things such as eyes and the three vibrantly colored angry birds jumping off a ledge, which expresses my creativity and attraction to bright colors. One place I would paint my mural is in one of Hong Kong's street brick walls. The purpose is because my mural is originally very colorful, and if I put it somewhere that is also vibrant and colorful, it would be too bright and fluorescent. I want to create contrast between different color palettes, like light and dark, so that if my mural is painted onto an old, bleak, wall, the contrast would be more clearly shown. Another place I would paint my mural is on the ceiling in local places (as long as I have owner's consent). This is because it would trigger people to start thinking about the values and meaning behind the art, like "Why did the artist draw that? What message are they trying to convey through?" and make the audience think. In my idea, I've used the bottom of my mural to show that one of the angry bird is quite hesitant to jump off the ledge. This communicates sometimes when we are taking risks, we are still hesitant even if others urge you. I think this is successful because the angry birds facial expression is quite nervous behind the anger.
Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is to create my own world
You can see this in my mural ideas is the colorful eyes of elements and alot the colored in bricks.
One place I would paint my mural is at home. The meaning/purpose would be my dream.
Another place I would paint my mural is my dad's house. The meaning/purpose would be to show him im capable on doing things.
In my idea, I’ve used the cracked wall and abunch of other planes to communicate. I think this was successful because i liked the drawing and its about what i like not what you like.
This spark my imagination because, it is like a funny world and look fun. This some extreme sports that are fun, it will good to show people. I will put my mural on a wall, so people could see it anywhere where people could see. I will paint it on a bridge, this is so people could see how extreme some sports could be also fun to draw on bridge. I will like some doors or obstacles that I could use to draw.
Something that sparks my imagination is random things. It sparks my imagination because it makes me wonder what these things are really about. You can see this in my painting by looking at the randomly placed things that I drew on my wall. My favourite part of the drawing is the door going inside the bigger door because you don't know what's inside it so it makes you think. I would like to paint my mural on a blank wall because it will be boring if there is nothing on the wall.
Something that sparks my imagination is The Future, and what our world will look like 100 years later. I wrote "The Future" in one of my mural ideas, and I chose this one to actually do. I tried to sketch a futuristic city, with many weird-shaped buildings, which is what I think the future will look like. I also tried to express the contrast of different shades of colors through my artwork, as the only 2 colors I used were light and dark blue. I painted/drew my mural on a wall with a door, and the meaning and purpose would be the show people what the world would be like in the future. If I wanted to paint it somewhere else, I would paint it on a street, so many people would see it and my artwork would gain popularity. I think that I could improve by drawing more stuff and making it more
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is how different colors and objects create contrast between each other and is able to create a drawing that has a huge variant of colors and objects, which in some ways can inspire people in a lot of ways. You can see this in my mural idea which is "a creative variety of colors and objects, you can somewhat tell that this is my idea because of how there are many objects with a variety of colors which make somewhat of a contrast. One place I would like to draw my mural would be on a city wall because I feel like the city lacks that creativity of colors and objects as it is just filled with plain buildings for offices, the meaning behind it would be to lighten up the place and to make it less like a place with only repetition and make it look more creative and avoid the repetition from spreading. Another place I would draw my mural would be in a subway, it's meaning would be that people don't always have to take the same route every day and never change, because change is good. In my idea, I have used a plain wall to further communicate that change is good, and repetition is not always good. I think this was successful because I asked some of my classmates and they all seemed to agree that I did do something different and made a change for a change, instead of just doing the same old things.
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is eye illusions, and you can see that in the middle of the drawing, there is a square, and that is a optical illusion. it is like a ongoing stair slowly going down to the bottom right. I would paint my mural in wall in a street, just to add some decorations. so like a new white wall, because I think that the wall i chose ruined the drawing a bit. In my idea, I've used this wall because I think that it looks the closest to a street wall. I think it was successful because I think it turned out okay. I think that I should make less mistakes in the optical illusions, and not mess up some lines because I messed up a bit, but the rest is good.
Something that sparks my imagination is war whether conventional or technological war sparks me because without war the world would have never discovered nuclear power and without war, Hitler would be ruling the world. and this piece of art shows how if technology revolted.(GoogleBot) it would destroy the world and that really tells us how far technology has advanced in the few decades we used and that if we let go of our grip it would destroy human life and even earth so this is a representation that when it happens it will be bad and destroy
Somethings that sparks my imagination are quotes that people could relate to. At first I didn't really know what to do since I had lost my previous mural (this is my 2nd mural), then I just followed my heart and drew what I wanted. I don't know why there are black boxes flying everywhere, Mr. Wun just told us to make use of the space that we had.
In my mural, I chose to put the quote: 'feelings not found' because sometimes you just don't care about what others think and you just do whatever you want. There is a saying that goes: 'People who mind what you are doing don't matter and the people who matter to you do mind what you are doing. Also, I chose to use vibrant colours to create contrast in the mural and really capture to attention of the people walking pass.
One place I would put my mural is a place where there really isn't any vibrant colours. For example a little alley way. Yes, the alley way can be dark but the purpose of the mural is to brighten up the place.
\
Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is grass and hills.
You can see this in my mural ideas because I drew stuff.
One place I would paint my mural is on a wall near a train station. The meaning/purpose would be that it will be a long ride.
In my idea, I’ve used the whole wall to communicate.I think this was unsuccessful.
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity are random things that look nice together and things that stand out. I wrote things that looked aesthetic like sunsets, gradient backgrounds, ect. I tried to express the contrast of colors, I used many colors and different shades of those colors to create a graident or blending them together. One place I would paint my mural would be on a wall. The purpose would be a person looking outside a window and there are her other moods around her, meaning you don't always have to keep your feelings inside. In my idea, I've used the broken wall piece as a window sill, to make it look like someone was looking out of a window. I think that this was successful because it turned out the way I wanted it to look like and it matched everything around it.
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is how the waves move in a way so elegant and the texture and the colors of the ocean waves.
You can see that I have the waves in all sort of directions and in a shade of blue contrasting with the darker blues and the lighter blues.
One place I would paint my mural is maybe on a beach house The purpose would be relating with the sea within because my mural is about the waves.
Another place I would paint my mural is on a boat. The meaning is to blend the painted waves with the waves that belongs to the ocean.
In my idea, i've used waves to communicate with the ocean and the crashing but elegant and beautiful waves. I think this was successful because it showed what I wanted my mural's purpose to be.
Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is life under the sea were spongebob squarepants lives
You can see the spongebob at the top middle. The 5 shapes that I drew is from a top perspective to show that where spongebob lives is very deep down.
One place I would paint my mural is the shore where you wait for the boat. The meaning/purpose would be to show that spongebob would maybe be a living thing deep down under the sea and lives under there
Another place I would paint my mural is a place where submarines stays.
The meaning/purpose would be when the submarines go under the water it would be like they are finding spongebob.
In my idea, I’ve used the bottom of the wall to show that Patrick Star in this cartoon gives us a lot of surprises and happiness. I think this was successful because I hid the bottom half of the Patrick Star in the wall to show that he was like hiding and suddenly giving us a surprise.
Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is cute things. You can see this in my mural ideas about a cute halloween. One place I would paint my mural is a small street during halloween. The purpose would be to entertain people. Another place I would paint my mural is on a wall with a crack in it. The meaning/purpose would be that the halloween world is flowing out. In my idea, I’ve used the crack to communicate a new world. I think this was successful because it meets my intentions.
