My great grandfather’s cannon matters a lot to me because this was passed down and crafted by my great grandpa in the 60s and I am personally interested in 3D models. I will show this in my mural by making it look more significant, colourful and a bit old since it was made in the 60s. The ideal place for me to paint the mural is somewhere in Hong Kong which has cannons. It is because with the addition of cannons, it brings colour to the dull cannons and it makes the tourists more interested while also bringing an exciting and robust atmosphere to the community. Last but not least, It makes tourists picture about the olden days and it also reminds people that you should cherish what you have.
I lot of things and people matter to me a lot. For example my family, friends, BTS, and a lot more. However for this mural I will be drawing pandas because they are my favourite animal. I will show this in my mural by drawing pandas on swings(trying to include all panda dolls I own). I would paint it in Hong Kong zoo or my home because (zoo)pandas are animals and (home)because I can look at it anytime I like. It would enhance the community because it can tell people to love animals and not harm pandas and animals.
I care about music because it really influenced me to do much more, and since I was gifted headphones from my parents, I should really draw a mural about it. I will draw it on a landscape public wall with nothing on it, so I can express my feelings more.
My laptop matters a lot to me, because i need to use it everyday. I think that i will paint it on a wall. I will paint it somewhere in Kennedy town. I will paint it in kennedy town because there are a lot of public paintings in kennedy town. It will remind people to take care of their electronic devices
I really care about my book. I will show this by putting an umbrella protecting the book from rain. I care about it because I read it more than 15 times. I did this to make people think that reading is good and to protect what you care about . I would paint it near a school or library and It would make people protect what they care about.
My family and our memories matter a lot to me. I would like to represent this by painting a giant version of my grandmother's camera - something she used to capture our families stories and is in itself reminds me of her. It is an old camera, so it also shows a link to the past and I think it would enhance a building and those that walk by it or live in it by reminding them to be creative, to remember and record their stories. It also could share a message about "looking through different lenses" and memories.
The object that matters most to me is my teddy bear and the dog, because I have had them since I was little and are important to me.I guess I’ll draw a mural of my teddy bear and my stuffed dog and probably a lot more..(Because they are stuffed animals). I will create this mural to bring awareness for animals.
My family and friends are what matter most to me because they will always be supportive of me with anything I do. I also value the connections that are made throughout our society. I will show this in my mural by demonstrating how valuable perspectives are in daily life, my mural will change text depending on how you look at it. I would paint my mural in Central because to me that is one of the most cultural places in Hong Kong and I feel that it would make a big difference depending on where it was made. It would enhance the community because it would remind people that no matter what problem is stopping you, you can either find the solution or make one.
I value the animals on this earth to not get killed, for reasons, just like how elephants get killed because of their ivory, and some animals get killed for their fur. This matters to me, since if we keep doing this the animals may start getting extinct, and the future people on this earth won’t be able to see what we have seen before. I would paint it on an archway between two buildings. This is because the archway could be the animals walking around, and I could dangle a curtain down from the archway that is white and could paint earth in it. I think it would because they would start to think about the meaning of this artwork and think about how we should not harm animals, or kill them because of ivory, or their fur.
My dog. Because I’ve always wanted a dog. She means the world to me. I would show how bad animal cruelty was, my dog did suffer from animal cruelty and i dont want any dogs to suffer the same thing I'm not allowed to paint on walls:( But i would choose Sai Kung because that's where most of the strays are.) It will have a deep meaning on why dogs don't deserve to be hurt in such a bad way
What matters to me is my friends and my family, because they help me when I need it, and they care about me a lot. I Think this matters to me because of all the things my friends and family did for me. I would paint it on a wall near my apartment, because I would be able to see it. I think this would help make people appreciate their friends and family.
I care about my teddy bear. My mom bought it when I was born and I used to bring it everywhere I went but I almost lost it a few times so I stopped bringing it on vacation. I would like the mural to be on a bridge, since there are a lot of bridges in hong kong, people driving under might see it. Also the bridges in Hong Kong are kind of dull and boring, so i want to make it a more beautiful place. I also want to remind people about childhood.
My small bear pillow matters a lot to me because when I TURNED 1 MY PARENTS gave it to me as a birthday gift. I used to bring it everywhere I went but I almost lost it in the hotel room, so to keep it safe I leave it in my house whenever I travel. I will show this in my mural by drawing my small bear pillow and me cuddling together and I will also draw it in a small tiny home when i go traveling. I would paint this near a mall, showing how such small things can stick to us forever.
I care about a lot of things, such as my family and friends, and I also value some of my belongings such as my airpods, BTS albums and Teddy bear. The airpods were gifted to me by one of my close friends, and it holds a very special meaning to me. My BTS albums matter to me because BTS taught me how to love myself for who I am, and their music is very inspiring to me and have a lot of hidden messages inside. My Teddy bear, however, was given to me by one of my mother’s close friends, when i was an infant. It has become one of my closest companions since, and even though i don't play with it as much as I used to do so, I still keep it in my bed where I can see it because it has a lot of emotional value to me.I would paint it on a wall in my house. Because these things have a personal meaning to me and I don't want people commenting on things that I keep for myself. It would enhance my community (namely, my house) by brightening the mood of the house with something colorful.
My family, friends and pets matter to me the most and I also care about them. Without them I would never learn to behave and be good. I might draw a heart and people surrounding it, I would paint it near the adoption center, I would paint it there because it will show that even if some children does not have parents, orphans are still surrounded by love and care to tell more people to love the ones around you and take good care of them.
My mouse matters most because it was a gift I have wanted for a very long time. I would make the mural near where I live. I would make it here because it is where I am. It would encourage us to give each other and share to help people that have needs.
One of the things that I value most is my toy rabbit. It matters to me because I got it when I was very small, I always sleep and play with it. I would paint it at the nursery or other places in Hong Kong. It can let people remember what they care about.
I care about the environment. I will represent this in my mural by drawing a single plant in the foreground, and the background is a bunch of factories producing lots of smoke. This matters to me because pollution is bad.
I would paint it on some wall near a factory. I would choose this location to paint it, because when people see it they are reminded of the effects of pollution. This would enhance the community by informing others of the effects of pollution and climate change and stuff.
