Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity is perspective and nature. You can see this in my mural ideas because there are to opposing side of fire that is an element of nature and there is also a waterfall which also represents nature and also for the perspective side of it is the one where there is a horror side and a happy side. One place I would paint my mural is just somewhere where when you walk by you see one perspective of it but the more you walk the more you see the other perspective of it. The meaning/purpose would be how much perspective can affect our lives. It would impact the place it is in by making people think about their actions as they walk by it. Another place I would paint my mural is somewhere in Niagara falls. The meaning/purpose would be my drawing is a rainbow waterfall and apparently Niagara Falls has a lot of rainbows and it is a waterfall. It would put into perspective how somethings we don’t even give a glance at could be better than we imagined it would impact the place it is in by giving people a different perspective on the Niagara falls and nature. In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on a wall because I a wall or a building has 2 sides, I thought if I utilized the 2 sides of the wall it would look really cool. My work is basically 2 flip sides, one side which is all colorful and rainbows and the other side where it is like a monster and blood. I used the fire to connect the 2 sides. I felt like when I put it against the wall it would work really well, another reason (other than the one above) is because I feel like you would look at a wall more than other places. While you are walking you can see the different points of view, first you will see the colorful side, but the more you walk the more the wall reveal the horror side.
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is plants and books. You can see this because I drew some flowers and plants in my mural as well. One place I would paint my mural is on a wall in public that’s maybe around a plant shop or an alley. The meaning is to represent a little bit of nature and that there could be much more to discover in this world. I think another place I could paint my mural other than an alley is outside the walls of a school, because the mural is also supposed to represent curiosity and imaginations. In my idea, I drew my mural on a wall instead of a tram or stairs, because I feel like some artwork is easier to see on a flat surface and at a place where there aren’t many other things blocking it.
Something that sparks my imagination and curiosity is the outer space. I wonder about what other living things might be out there, but we don’t know yet. You can see this in my mural where the background is outer space and all the apps on the ipad are floating away because there is no gravity in outer space. One place I could paint my mural is on a wall beside a technology shop. The meaning/purpose might be for people to buy the things but it would also look very cool and interesting. Another place I could paint my mural is beside a art shop. The meaning/purpose might be for people to let out their imaginations and draw whatever they want, even though it might be non-realistic. In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on a wall because I think it would look great on a wall and when people are walking by and they see it they might feel more relaxed because of the large space.

In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on a tram, because 1. It looks cool, 2. It changes the meaning of the tram by suggesting that even though it has the capability to go zooming, there is always something holding it down. In my work, I could work on my two-point perspective, my shading and also work on how deep the color is because I still think that the tram is a bit too dark and there are not enough bright colors.

Something that sparks my imagination & curiosity are human settlements. You can see this in my mural ideas as my mural was based off Ísafjörður, which is a little village in Iceland that sits inside a fjord. The reason why these things make me curious is because I think the amount of things that are running at once just to keep a settlement running is incredible. When I draw my fantasy maps, there is a lot of imagination involved (and a lot of technical thinking such as road steepness and possible congestion). One place I would paint my mural is inside a building. The purpose would be just to give the wall some detail. Another place I would paint my mural is on a staircase. My mural is of a little village inside a fjord, and I think downward staircases could portray that river valley feel. The mural could impact the place it is in by giving people a reason to stop by this place that they would normally walk past and to take some photos. In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on a staircase(tram, wall, stairs) because I thought the river flowing down the staircase would look cool, and the downward curving staircase fits in well with the whole theme of the fjord, a sort of steep river valley.

It would impact the place it is in by the color and the interesting design
In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on a wall because my work is going to look cooler on a wall like it’s sucking things in, and while it’s on the stairs the already stair-like design is going to be hidden which won’t do its purpose if it’s on a tram, the windows, and empty spaces will destroy the original look and feel.

You can see this in my mural ideas, because I have drawn a some kaleidoscopes, and some blobs of colours. One place I would paint my mural is probably on a plain wall to emphasise the colours being used onto create the kaleidoscope, and just how colourful kaleidoscopes are in general. The meaning/purpose would be to create a little pop of colour because I would chose to do it in a dark place, and because kaleidoscopes have really bright colours I would also like to emphasise that in my mural. Another place I would paint my mural is a moving vehicle. The meaning/purpose would be so that wherever the vehicle goes, everyone will be able to see it. Also, maybe it will spark people to be creative and say maybe art on all cars will be nice! It would impact the place it is in by sparking the people who passes by thoughts because maybe they have never seen anything like it before. In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on the wall because in my final design, I decided to draw cubes in perspective with kaleidoscope patterns and drawings on the cubes to make it look like it popped out of the wall, I also added some blobs of bright colours to make the wall more eye catching and think this will have a cool effect to it if I draw it on the wall.

For basketball, that’s my sport it makes me imagine my future, how the game expanded in the last 70 years and my interest to the game. You can see this in my mural ideas. As you can see, I’ve added some famous basketball players alongside with some features of outer space, galaxies and more. Though, it has a few different meanings behind it. One place I would paint my mural is probably on the walls of a basketball arena or gym, or even simply in my bedroom would do.. The meaning/purpose would be to express my interest in basketball and how the vast universe out there is blooming with facts and features that we still don’t know about. Placing it in a gym may also be inspirational to others, in memory of Kobe and never giving up. An impact it can also make is to raise player’s dedication and perseverance to the game of basketball, and it is a vast big game out there, it’s not just about bouncing a ball and putting the ball into the hoop. Another place I would paint my mural is my bedroom. The meaning/purpose would be_to allow me to imagine the big space out of the atmosphere of the earth and expand my thinking and challenging my limits. Remembering to never give up and rise. Never fall. It will also allow me to imagine, think unique, and creatively, knowing that there is so much out there left for us to unravel and find. My artwork would impact the place it is in because it will inspire and raise the energy in the room or the gym, also allowing people to know what it takes to be the greatest of all time. In my idea, I’ve drawn my mural on a wall because I feel like my mural is best suited to be painted on a wall, as you see, previously, I mentioned that it can be painted inside a gym or my room, which contains walls, my mural also has a lot of detail, which is most suited and painted and drew on a wall.
