I can share our April 30 West Rapids Elementary: Staff Reflection Summary Report. (that would at least match for West what we were asked to do).
Additionally, I would like everyone to take a moment to go through FastBridge reports and identify any students who may be missing an assessment.
SPED Team: At the end I'd like to talk to the SPED group about placements for next year.
Please sit in full grade/department teams. We will discuss core questions from three areas and capture our thoughts on chart paper.
Three areas we will cover:
1. Evidence-Based Approaches
What specific new skill or practice would you or your team like to focus on developing in the next school year?
2. Belonging
How would you describe the culture of our building (e.g., behavior of students, behavior of staff, our norms or values)?
What does it feel like to be a student here?
What does it feel like to be a staff member here?
What is one action our building could take to optimize the culture for students and staff?
3. Equitable Education
A “safety net” is defined as practices or approaches to working with students to ensure they have what they need to be successful.
What safety nets do you provide to students in your care?
Agenda:
Welcome and setup – 1 minute
(Quick overview, get into grade/department teams)
Evidence-Based Approaches – 6 minutes
(Focus on new skills or practices for next year)
Belonging – 6 minutes
(Reflect on culture and identify one improvement)

This is a reminder that we have an early out this week for team collaboration work time. Please plan to meet as teams right away to maximize our time together.
Classroom Teachers: You will use the Wit & Wisdom preparation protocols and the information from our September professional development to plan for the successful implementation of Module 3. This aligns well with the work you have been doing with Carol Copp to unpack module 3.
Please refer to the Wit & Wisdom Preparation Protocols document in the Early Out spreadsheet.
Specialists and Student Support Staff: You will be working with eduCLIMBER data walls and formative data to analyze student progress and inform instruction.

Next week's early out will follow a similar structure with the following focus areas:
Classroom Teachers:
Continue to use the Wit & Wisdom preparation protocols to plan for the successful implementation of Module 3.
