Volunteer Hours for Boosters

Booster clubs exist to enthusiastically and exclusively promote, support, and represent the Farmington High School activities, athletics, and arts programs. Booster clubs raise funds through donations, community events, fundraisers, sponsorships, and/or memberships.

Mandatory volunteer hours are not a compulsory part of any Farmington High School booster club rules and regulations. Volunteer hours may be encouraged, however, are not mandatory.

No booster club shall collect money up front and return it after a person has completed volunteer hours.

No booster club shall require volunteer hours.

Booster clubs may offer volunteer opportunities for parents, families, and community members.

Booster clubs that engage in mandatory volunteer hours for members will no longer be recognized by the Farmington Area Public Schools as a sport or activity booster.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of booster clubs and it is the task of booster club leadership to encourage and engage volunteers in purposeful activities.
