Streaming

The Farmington Area Public Schools own the rights to all regular-season athletic events and school-sponsored activity events. Live video streaming must be approved by the Activities and Athletics Director in advance of the event. Booster Clubs shall not organize independent live streaming of any kind without the approval of the Activities and Athletics Director.

This includes the streaming of all varsity and lower level contests.

The streaming of post season events requires approval from the Administrative Region Committee and the Minnesota State High School League. Contracting for streaming services is conducted through the Region Committee. Media groups have the opportunity to contract for streaming services and engage in discussions regarding any applicable fees.

Booster Clubs Should...

  • Support and promote FHS Tigers Live, the streaming service that Farmington High School offers.

  • Develop a process to identify a person to run the camera for events streamed by FHS Tigers Live.

Booster Clubs Should Not...

  • Engage in the streaming of any scrimmage, jamboree, regular, or post season event for any level of program without the express written consent from the Athletic Director and/or MSHSL (if applicable).
