District and Booster Websites

It is recommended that Booster Clubs provide a website as a resource for its members and members of the community. Below is a description of the content that should appear on both the district and Booster Club’s websites. Content should not be duplicated, however, links to both websites should be provided on each other’s website.

Farmington Tigers District Website

URL: www.farmingtontigers.com - This is the official website for any programs offered and administered by the Farmington Area Public Schools.

Content that will appear exclusively on the District website:

  • Official website

  • Game schedules for all levels of a program

  • Practice schedules for all levels of a program

  • Coaching staff

  • Coaching staff contact information

  • Coaching staff bios and photographs

  • Team rosters for every level of a program

  • Results

  • Photos and videos (sponsored)

  • Activities department sponsors

  • Program related stories

  • Summer camp and clinic information

  • Team handbooks

Booster Club Websites

Booster Club websites should be designed to support the programs offered by the Farmington Area Public Schools.

Content that may appear on Booster Club websites:

  • Booster sponsors

  • Non-school participation opportunities (these are voluntary and families must pay for their own participation)

  • Booster club meeting agendas and minutes

  • Volunteer information

  • How to get involved in the booster club

  • Booster club donations and support information

  • Photos and videos (not sponsored)

Booster Clubs Should...

  • Support the programs that the Farmington Area Public Schools offer.

Booster Clubs Should Not...

  • Engage in the administration of any program offered by the Farmington Area Public Schools in any way.

  • Make posts, create content, or make written or verbal contact that solicits the transfer of a high school or junior high school student to participate in a sport. This is a violation of MSHSL Bylaw 308 and the school may be censured due to these activities.
