Making Purchases
Booster clubs wishing to make purchases to benefit programs offered by Farmington High School must go through the head coach and the activities department for approval. Booster clubs should not make purchases independently. When items are purchased from donated funds, they become the property of the District.Â
Booster Club Use of Funds:
Acceptable uses of booster funds through donation to the District include:
Equipment and supplies.
Assistant coach/director/advisor stipends.
Transportation fees related to team building trips and transportation upgrades.
Entry fees.
Tournament fees.
Facility fees, rentals, etc.
Approved merchandise and apparel for students and coaches. Remember, if the booster club purchases the merchandise or apparel it must benefit all members of the team not just those who paid dues or became a member. If purchasing apparel or merchandise is an option left up to families, they can decide to get the apparel on their own.

Banquet expenses - banquet expenses should be paid for by the fees collected to host the banquet.
