School Supplies

Primary School

ISB supplies all students in Primary with all school supplies. However, students do need a backpack for bringing items to and from school. Many children also have small pencil cases with their own personal items.

Students also need a set of PE shoes that are dedicated to indoor use only. One of our spaces for PE is indoors so having a clean pair of sneakers at school is required. When PE is held outside, students use the sneakers they wore to school that day.

Secondary School

Students in grades 9-12 need a laptop and all the specifications are given here. Students from grades 6-8 are given a school iPad.

Students need a pair of sneakers for PE and comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. A PE shirt is given to all Secondary students for PE lessons.

Students are required to have a calculator for math classes at ISB.

Mathematics courses at ISB use a calculator as a tool to investigate abstract concepts

explored in Algebra, Trigonometry, and beyond.

The following calculators are used at each grade level:

• Grades 6, 7, and 8: Four function basic calculator or scientific calculator.

• Grades 9, and 10: Graphing calculator, model TI-84+.

• Grades 11 and 12: Graphing calculator, model TI-84+.

Basic calculators and scientific calculators are readily available in Serbia. However, graphing calculators are not sold in Serbia. They are easily attainable in many other European countries and in North America. If you are traveling, you can purchase one in a large office supply store or department store such as Office Depot, Staples, Walmart, or Target. If you are not traveling, you can order one from Amazon.uk. The TI- 84+ graphing calculators will also be available to purchase from the school.
