The International School of Belgrade (ISB) is proud to be accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB), as well as the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
ISB was the first International School in the world to be accredited by NEASC in 1981. Further, ISB is currently working with both NEASC and the IB as the global pilot school for joint accreditation protocols.
Accreditation has two key purposes:
It ensures the school continually strives for excellence by meeting external standards of quality, widely accepted in international education circles.
It provides an instrument for continual school improvement through self-reflection and external evaluation.
