General Safety

ISA employs a compliance officer, Paul Menzies,  to ensure the safe running of the school including events, trips and activities.  He makes sure that we have risk assessments for the general running of the school, especially high risk areas such as the pool and science labs.  All trips and events have risk accessed


Please take care to prepare a safe packed lunch for your child, and to protect other children when bringing food into school.   


Please ensure your child has sufficient clothing to keep warm and dry throughout the day.  For preschool and elementary, a spare outfit will be useful and can be kept in your child's locker. Elementary school has a small amount of "spare clothes" which can be used if the student's own clothes are wet or dirty. These must be washed and returned asap after use to the school.


When working on their Chromebooks at home, students should set up their workstations correctly to avoid neck, shoulder and back strain. This two-minute video gives some great tips.
