Welcome to the cell Scratch Extra Credit Project. I will guide you through some steps that you can take to complete this project successfully. Of course, you will have to add your own organelles and text. I used the nucleus as an example of what you can do just as an example. You only need to include text, but I added voicer and translation in case. you want it.
The first thing students in classes 701, 702 and 712 who don't have a Scratch group from last year is to join the 7th grade Scratch group. If students in these classes (701, 702 and 712) don't remember their passwords or their accounts, they can create a new account here or they can ask me, and I can help you reset your password or get your account. A table with your student names, classes (from last year) and Scratch user names is at the buttom. For those of you who need to join Scratch, you can do so with this form. You need to record your user name, class and password, so that I can easily look it up for you.
Click on Create in Scratch, and a new project will be made.
Rename the project with your name and It's a cell or something like that.
Click on + Add to Studio, the put it in the class studio.
Copy the URL (web address) and paste into the assignment in Google classroom.
The create a sprite tool is at the bottom right of your screen. Click on the new sprite picture (cat with a +) and choose paint.
Click on the paint picture, choose your color and draw the outline of the cell.
To fill in the cell, just use the paint can and drag it to the cell.
Goto Google, and search your organelles. Click on tools, then choose Usage Rights, then choose Creative Common lisenses. Here are some pictures of cell nuclei that you can use.
