You're going to learn how to use the EV3!
In your note books, write down today's date and EV3.
Then answer the question: What is wrong with the robot? Think about your robot and the picture on the left. So what is wrong with the robot. Include this sentence starter and number (or something similar):
1) The robot in the picture has _________________________ wrong with it.
2) In the picture at left, what do the numbers on A, B, and D mean?
3) What do the pictures mean?
Answer the questions in complete sentences, similar to the sentence starter for #1. Remember, What I am really looking for in your notebook is that I can read what you are writing, know where you are in using the robot and understand what you am doing. Also, include anything that is unclear in these instructions, because they are going to be used by others.
Use the steering block to change the direction of the robot. In the picture, you can see the arrow above the number 0. This is the direction.
4) Change the by different amounts, and then make the robot move. What happens when the robot turns? What happens to the numbers?
5) Create at able and call it something like: "How the motors rotate based on the direction and distance the robot travels" and then expirement and fill out the table. Then, under the table, discuss the results you saw when you changed the direction and how far the robot goes.
