Poetry and Elocution Club

Poetry and Elocution Club is an open society, hence giving a chance for creators of words and alike to exploit their creative license to the fullest. Poetry Club was started in hopes of providing a platform for anybody who wishes to share their poetry, unhindered in its expression. 

The Club has its official blog, ‘Word Prism’. The blog serves a platform for creative exploration in the form of poems, essays, and stories on a myriad of themes submitted by the members of the Poetry and Elocution Club.

Further, we aim to organize poetry workshops, slam competitions, JAM sessions, movie screenings, collaborations with various other clubs and societies creating a plethora of opportunities for one to share their thinking with like-minded people. Regular meetings and rendezvous are organized where words and thoughts are shared unrestricted creating a cosy and open environment. Another platform where members are encouraged to partake in their work and musings is social media. Poetry Club has a Facebook page and an active Instagram and Twitter Account where photography and poetry is promoted through themed posts; this is carried out with the aim of giving exposure to budding writers, thus fulfilling the true intent of Poetry and Elocution Club.
