The weekend

During the weekend, we all went making different plans due to the fact that we were living with different French people.

As soon as I arrived, I, Iker, gave the package to Luca's mother, so they could take it to the house directly. After it, I went to a football match together with the French people before going to eat at a restaurant near the port, which they had such a grate food. Then, in the afternoon, I was shown around the house and I got to know all the members of the family. Right before taking diner at 8 o'clock, I went straight to bed because I was very tired after the long journey of 14 hours from Catalonia.

At the following day, we started Sunday by going fishing in a very nice lake, although unfortunately, we didn't see any fish. I could say it was a bit boring because I was with my French and a friend of his, and I had no company to chat with. A couple of hours after lunch, we spent the afternoon visiting the town of Poetic with some friends from both sides, Catalans and French. During the walk, we had a very good ice cream that we all enjoyed, and then everyone went home to rest and prepare for the next day at the high school.

Marc: When I arrived, they picked me up superfast. When I got in the car I saw that it was full of mud and scabs and at that moment I knew that the house was not going to be very clean. When I got home I introduced myself to the family, the truth is they were very nice, but they didn't speak English and it was quite awkward. During the weekend, I only left the house to buy a baguette.

Joan: Me and my correspondent when we first arrived, he showed me the marvelous landscapes full of animals and birds who roamed the zone. The watery and full of green landscapes made it a truly awesome to habit place for all species there. Then in the afternoon, we got in my correspondent motorbike and reached the house of Ian Criado's correspondent where we ate pizza and stayed there to sleep. When we got up, we went to a Chinese buffet with the crew and ate a lot of food, then we went bowling and back to our home to enjoy the French food our family blessed us with. 

Overall, the weekend was very different for all of us and with a variety of activities that some loved and others hated. Anyway, the experience was something that we should all share and by doing so have a great time, so even though some others think that the others had a better time than them, the grass is always greener on the other side and each experience is valuable in the same other way.
