What did we do, and how it went.
We, the 1st of batxillerat group, made an activity called basket beat. This activity is about making music with the sound of the basketball balls. The activity started with a game of cohesion so we know each other better, because we were with our French partners. We learned the name of other people to make a game with their names because we had to make place changes with others following the rhythm of the song we made previously. Later we made another game about accomplishing to do bounces then try to get to the middle and one of the group had to do a different rhythm, but there's a twist, if two of the integrate match the rhythm, then we lose. Afterward, the session closed with a game of accomplishing 11 bounces, but the eleventh one is silent, and it happened to be way difficult than it seems.
Starting the session, we could already notice the unusual and yet intriguing methodology of our teacher who did the activity. However, his method seemed to work and basketbeat enhanced us and the French students well, and so we got to it and had a great time.
At first, we thought that basket beat was made to perform songs, but for our surprise, it wasn't like that. It was more like a cohesion type of activity to enhance ourselves with the foreign students and doing so have a great time. We were really wrong for making that assumption.
