Clean-walk with Hirondelle → at the beach (La Bernerie)
Last week, we organized a beach cleanup activity at Pornic beach. We divided ourselves into groups and spent the morning picking up litter, especially plastics, that we found on the sand and among the rocks. One of the groups managed to collect an impressive total of 25 kilograms of plastic. This experience was very rewarding and allowed us to think about the importance of keeping natural environments clean and healthy.
Helping to clean beaches not only helps protect marine fauna and flora, but it also has a positive impact on local tourism. Clean beaches are more attractive to visitors and can promote economic development in the area. Furthermore, it fosters environmental awareness within the community, encourages collaboration, and promotes values of respect and care for the environment.
In summary, beach cleaning is an important task that not only improves our quality of life and that of others but also contributes to the protection of marine ecosystems and the preservation of our natural environment for future generations.
Maison de l’Europe
The Mansion of Europe is an iconic venue in Pornic, known for its impressive architecture and rich history. It's a place that has been used for various cultural and educational activities over the years.
Recently, we had the opportunity to attend a talk at the Mansion of Europe, where we were offered an interesting session about European culture. During the talk, we participated in several fun and educational dynamics. For example, we played games to guess the capitals and flags of different European countries, and we also listened to typical music from each country.
The most exciting part of the session was an interactive Kahoot where we put our acquired knowledge to the test. It was an exciting competition, and in the end, the winning couple was my partner Sergi and myself. It was a fun and enriching experience that allowed us to learn more about the cultural diversity of Europe while having a good time.
