The weekend

On Saturday morning, we went to La Maquinista, that’s a very big shopping center, where we had some breakfast and then had lunch, but not all together, because the Spanish people wanted to go to the Burger King, but the French ones, wanted to go to the Taco Bell, so we decided to divide the group into two parts although that the two restaurants were only about 10 meters of difference. After lunch, we took the train to go all the way to the Barcelona center, in other words, to Passeig de Gràcia, and there we mainly visited clothing boutiques they wanted to see. After that, the famous Barcelona lights turned on, so we seized the opportunity and took some photos all together. Once we wanted to come home again, the train we wanted to catch didn’t pass, so we had to wait for more than one hour for the next one. Once we got home, each pair of partners went to their own house to have dinner, although later at night, we met all together and some other Spanish friends came with us, and we spent all the night having fun and showing them the town.

On Sunday morning, we went to Cardadeu to see the famous Christmas market that was held that week. In the market, we could find amazing typical Catalan Christmas things, food and more stuff, also some music groups made a concert. Also, we ate xurros with sugar, which is a very typical Catalan snack, while walking around the town looking at all the market stalls. After that, we went to Sant Antoni de Vilamajor to watch a football match between Sant Antoni and Llinars that ended 3-2 with Llinars taking the win. When the match ended, everyone had lunch at their house with their French partners. At 4:30 pm, we met again but now in Les Pungoles, where we played football matches between us to have fun. Finally, in the evening, everyone went to their house to chill and have dinner and go to sleep because the next day we were going to wake up early to go to school.

Friday

On Friday we arrived home late and tired, so we decided to hang out around the village after dinner. We have been talking about how different are the cultures, and things about us, so we get a closer friendship. We haven't done anything more because it was too late.

Saturday

On Saturday we did 2 groups, 1 group was going to go to Girona, and the other group to Barcelona. 

Our group went to Barcelona. We took the train in Llinars at 12:00h because we wanted to have lunch in Barcelona. We stopped in La Maquinista to have lunch at Burger King and Taco Bell, the Spanish people at Burger King and the French at Taco Bell because they wanted to try different food that they don’t have in France. Later we hung out there visiting some stores and bars. Then, we took the train to Passeig de Gracia. There we were looking at the lights and taking photos in group. At 8:00 we took the train to Llinars to get dinner at home.

Sunday

On Sunday morning we went to a football game in Vilamajor at 1 o'clock,Reda and Sergi were playing. There were many people from the course to watch the match. Then people went home to eat. After lunch, there were many students who like football on a court of pungoles to make some games. We did a small tournament of 3 mixed teams with Spanish and French. We spent all afternoon playing until it got dark, and also because people had to go to dinner. Finally each one went home with his correspondent, they had dinner, did different things in their homes and went to sleep after the weekend, so tired from all the activities that were carried out.
