📌 Bartrina theater
Description: This year, 2023, the XVIII International Festival of Cinema in Reus (Memorimage) was celebrated from the 8th to the 11th of November. During these three days, a lot of fills for different public were shown. In my case, the picture shown was "Extinction Rebellion", shown the 9th of November to all the classes of Batxillerat in my school.
Planning/previous thoughts: When they showed us the activity, I thought the combination between a film and an environmental issue was interesting because it showed the reality of the United Kingdom through another perspective. The plot seemed to be interesting for me.
At 11:00, we needed to go from the school to the theatre and be there at 11:45. There were many options, but my friend group and I decided to go walking. We needed to think of the shortest route to get there, and we were talking in the way there.
Activity's valoration: I think that this activity was very interesting because I opened my perspective. The cinema facilities and organisation were great, and the scenography and pictures were fantastic and very realistic.
Final reflection: This activity has let me open my perspective and see how different countries address global issues. It was very impacting to see how lots of people with different mindsets were fighting for a good cause, although they could get arrested. That has inspired me to solidly fight for my values and for those things I support.
EVIDENCE
This picture shows how the students were placed before the movie and ready to watch it. You can find myself at the right of the second row, starting from the end.
