Board Elections - May 2025
Dear IICS Parents,
The nomination period for the Board of Directors Elections 2025 ended on Friday, May 23rd. The following 3 candidates have been confirmed and we thank them for stepping forward.

May 27th @ 4pm: Voting period started
Links for online voting have been sent to all parents automatically by the ElectionBuddy platform. Please check your spam box, in case you haven't received the email.
June 3rd @ 4pm: Voting period ends
Per IICS Policy Manual, Appendix 2.4.3 - Election Procedure; Elections are invalid if, “The voter participant is less than 25%. At the time there will be no new elections. Free positions will be filled by appointment from the Board for a period of one year and will be subject to election at the end of that year.”
We look forward to receiving your online ballots latest by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3rd.

Animal Welfare Photography Competition
Thank you to all who participated in the Animal Welfare Photo Competition this month. We had nearly 100 entries and it was really tough narrowing down the numbers. With the help of a few staff members, we eventually put our top 50 choices out to a vote. Students in grades 5-12 and secondary staff were given the opportunity to choose their 5 favourites. 113 people voted and below you can see the top 3 winning entries.
Should you wish to help us raise funds for our on-going projects helping the street animals, please consider purchasing a professionally framed A4-sized photograph - only 1000 TL for a beautifully framed original piece of art. For example, you can buy the amazing shot by Unai Reneses-Iriarte seen below. Fill out this form to order your photographs now.
