Cafeteria Updates & Exciting Changes

Dear IICS Community,

We are writing to update you on the recent meeting with Sardunya, our cafeteria service provider, following numerous concerns raised by our students, parents, and staff. We want to thank everyone for sharing their feedback, which has been invaluable in helping us improve our services.

The Food Committee and the Administration met with Sardunya, and we are pleased to report that the meeting was highly productive. As a result, Sardunya has agreed to make the following changes to better support the needs of our community:

• More variety in meal options to avoid repetition. 

• A better balance of proteins, including more red meat and reducing the reliance on chicken. 

• New, nutritious, and well-balanced dishes to enhance overall meal quality. 

• An Earth Day initiative, introducing a fully vegetarian menu twice each month to promote sustainability and mindful eating. 

• Improvements in staffing at the Marmara campus to enhance the cafeteria experience.

We are committed to providing high-quality, nutritious meals for our students and staff. These changes will be implemented over the coming weeks, and we will continue to keep you updated.
