Volunteers Needed for the 2025 IICS International Day on Saturday, May 24th
This special event, organized by our school and the PTA, is a celebration of our vibrant and diverse community. To make it a truly memorable and successful day, we need your support!
How You Can Get Involved
Support Your Country’s Booth:
• Assist the Booth Leader with preparations.
• Contribute food items or help with setup and operations on the day of the event.
Donate to the Country Baskets:
• We welcome souvenirs, local delicacies (non-perishable), and other cultural items.
Share Your Talents - Are you a musician, singer, dancer, artist, or sports enthusiast? We’d love for you to contribute by:
• Performing or directing a children’s performance.
• Leading a mini sports tournament.
• Hosting a creative workshop or art exhibition.
Join the International Day Parade:
• Wear your national costume and/or wave your flag with pride at our traditional parade.
• Students of all ages and parents are welcome.

International Day tickets are now available for pre-sale. We will also have country baskets raffle with goodies and souvenirs from different regions, for which you can buy as many raffle tickets as you wish.
Hisar parents can contact Ayşe Hanım to purchase the tickets. Marmara parents can send or drop off an envelope with cash to the PTA volunteers, Primary room teachers or the Reception. Please write your name, Grade, WhatsApp number, number of entry tickets and number of additional raffle tickets on the envelope. The tickets will be sent back to you with your child. Looking forward to celebrating our most amazing community event together!
Request for Recommendations for Transportation and Catering Services
Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you well.
We would like to inform you that our school is currently initiating tender
processes for both student transportation and catering services for the upcoming
academic year.
As part of this process, we welcome recommendations from our parent community.
If you know of any reliable and professional companies with prior experience
working with schools in the fields of transportation and catering, we would be
grateful if you could share their information with us—especially if you believe
they align with our school’s values, health, and safety standards.

Street Animal Photography Competition
The Animal Welfare Group is hosting a Street Cat & Dog Photo Competition to raise awareness about the current situation in Turkey, especially related to street dogs. Any member of the IICS community can submit up to five entries (free of charge) using this Google Form. You will find detailed information on the form.
The photos that receive the most votes will be exhibited on International Day, and the top 3 contestants will receive a prize.

Congratulations to our MS Knowledge Bowl and HS Math teams for fantastic results at the CEESA tournaments this last weekend!
MS KB won the tournament in Skopje! 🏆
HS Math junior division finished 1st, senior division 3rd, individual 1st and 3rd in Sofia 🥇🥉
This week we are hosting a TISL HS volleyball tournament for boys and girls on Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3rd. Boys' games will be in the upper gym and girls' games in the lower gym. Please stop by to watch the games and support our teams! You can find the schedule and the livestream links HERE.
Next week our MS volleyball teams will travel to participate in CEESA tournaments. Boys will travel to Sofia and girls to Belgrade.
