IICS INTERNATIONAL DAY
Saturday 24 May, 9.30 - 14.30
Dear all,
We look forward to meeting the IICS community on Saturday for a day of unity as we celebrate our cultural diversity. This festival promises a delightful experience with our vibrant flag parade, a variety of country and regional booths offering food and cultural displays, mini performances from our students, parents and staff, engaging activities such as the pottery workshop, a raffle, and surprise gifts.
If you haven’t yet purchased your entry tickets, it is not too late. You will be able to buy them for cash today (Friday) at both campuses or tomorrow at the security gate.
For a chance to win one of the baskets kindly donated by our community and sponsors, raffle tickets will be available for sale during the event. Just look out for a volunteer staff or parent wearing a PTA t-shirt. Check out the collection of raffle baskets for the amazing gifts you can win. More tickets - more chances to win!

The IICS Board of Trustees would like to inform you that ONE of the elected parent positions on the Board of Trustees will be available for the 2025-26 school year, with an official start date of July 1, 2025. Therefore, the process of electing the School Community-Elected Member will take place from May 16 to June 2, 2025.

We would like to thank all the parents who joined our on-line discussion group focused on the popular Netflix series "Adolescence" this week on Tuesday May 20th 2025. You can find the materials from the workshop in the hyperlink below.
This was a great opportunity for us to connect with parents, share perspectives, and reflect on how we can best support our children through these formative years. We would also like to remind you that Counseling team is offering another online interactive workshop next week:
Exit Right, Enter Right: What Parents Can Do to Help Ensure a Successful Transition
Is your family leaving IICS? Are you relocating to another country, or moving ‘back home’? If so, this presentation is for you.
Date: Tuesday, May 27th, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: On-line Meeting Link
This presentation will focus on the transition cycle, as well as what to expect before and after your move. The importance of proper closure (building a R.A.F.T) will be explored as it relates to any transition. Tips on how to help your child (whether in primary or secondary school)
be resilient through the challenges of a transition will also be discussed. We will also share resources on how to leave well, land well and settle into your new home.
