Our bilingual project is aimed at teaching and learning contents, subjects, knowledge by using English as a foreign language in order to make our students’ communication skills better.
The methodological approach CLIL (Integrated Learning of Contents and Foreign Languages) is implemented in the contents of each subject.The foreign language is used as an instrument that conveys the curriculum. The goal for the student is to develop language skills, while learning a subject in a language that may be unfamiliar. Collaborative work by tasks or projects is encouraged, promoting more autonomous learning by way of contributing to the group.

Our bilingual project began at our secondary school IES Alhamilla Almería Spain in 2009, and we are currently working at six different levels,
1st , 2nd, 3rd and 4th course of compulsory Spanish education (ESO), and 1st & 2nd courses of BACHILLERATO (Sixth Form )
This website shows some of our work as well as interesting learning resources and materials we have collected for class. It is in progress.
