Maycie Rector is a 5th grade teacher in rural Iowa with a passion for integrating technology into her everyday classroom through activities that are meaningful and build on 21st century skills. Maycie serves on her districts elementary Lighthouse Team to ensure that all students belong, lead, and succeed inside and outside of the classroom. Additionally, Maycie developed an online course , aligned with the Iowa Core State Standards and Illustrative Mathematics, for the Iowa e-Learning Central project to provides access to high quality online courses for Iowa educators and families.
