These termly sessions are held virtually and are open to anyone who wants to develop more equitable practice. In line with the Welsh Government PDG Terms and Conditions, all schools and settings should have a lead member of staff for attainment of disadvantaged learners / equity.

A growing number of children are presenting with attachment difficulties following exposure to trauma. This three hour virtual training session will give participants the opportunity to understand what being trauma informed means and how it can impact on the wellbeing of the whole school. This session is open to any education based practitioner with an interest in developing a more equitable approach in the classroom.

Our Equity Lead can support you as individual leaders, or as a whole school or cluster, to develop and embed understanding and development of equitable provision and inclusion within the classroom or as a whole school approach. Support can be delivered through one-to-one discussions, training or evaluation based activities and can be delivered in school or online and at a time to meet your needs e.g. Inset days, after school sessions etc.
