As part of the new curriculum, every school has to adopt their curriculum and publish a summary of it. Below is our curriculum statement that outlines the process we undertook and how we intend to move forward.
We work closely as a cluster in order to ensure that we have the best outcomes for all of our learners. Below you can see our cluster plan for 2023-24.
Our one year priorities as a cluster are to:
Improving standards of achievement
Implement and review curriculum with an additional focus on RSE and RVE
Improve attendance
In order to develop our curriculum we have involved pupils, parents, staff, governors and the wider community. Below the corresponding AOLE areas show our progress and how we have achieved our curriculum@Cwm.
Ambitious, Capable Learners Who:
set themselves high standards and seek and enjoy challenge
are building up a body of knowledge and have the skills to connect and apply that knowledge in different contexts
are questioning and enjoy solving problems
can communicate effectively in different forms and settings, using both Welsh and English
can explain the ideas and concepts they are learning about
can use number effectively in different contexts
understand how to interpret data and apply mathematical concepts
use digital technologies creatively to communicate, find and analyse information
