“Believe and you will achieve.”
At Cwmclydach Primary School, we believe that a primary school should be the heart of the community—a place where families feel welcome, supported, and empowered. Our Family Engagement work brings parents, carers and children together through meaningful experiences that build confidence, develop skills, and strengthen relationships.
We are incredibly proud of the wide range of opportunities we offer to our families, including:
Supporting parents to understand how children learn best and offering simple, fun ways to support learning at home.

Bringing families together to cook, learn healthy habits, share recipes and build life skills in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.
A warm, nurturing space for our youngest learners and their families to play, socialise and start their Cwm journey with confidence.
Families work side by side with staff and pupils to grow, plant and care for our school environment—building teamwork, life skills and pride in our community spaces.
Outdoor learning at its best! Our families enjoy hands-on sessions exploring nature, building resilience and developing wellbeing through child-led outdoor activities.
