When dealing with copyright materials in Online Classes, it is crucial to consider how to understand the Copyright Act. For this reason, we covered some examples of acceptable uses of copyright material under the revised Copyright Act (and the remuneration system introduced under it). We covered the relevant criteria (eligible facilities, eligible persons, eligible copyright material, and eligible acts). Finally, we showed some examples that would not be covered under this new remuneration system.
In Online Classes, it is necessary to grasp the progress of students' learning and evaluate their work. Hence, our theme for the day was quizzes. We showed possible types of quizzes you can assign on Moodle (multiple choice, true/false, etc.) and the various settings you can adjust (timing, question order, review options, etc.). We then provided a demo for how to create a true-false quiz on Moodle.
Using the chat tool, we discussed questions relating to how to display lecture videos and slides, the possibility that ELMS could slow down due to many students using it at the same time, and how to approach copyright materials from overseas.
We would like to thank all those who participated today as well. Additionally, we would like to offer a special thanks to those who helped answer questions in the chat while participating.
