Make sure to check for notifications about class on ELMS and from mailing lists to registered students.
For Simulcast Classes, make sure to start up the video-conferencing software and enter the designated meeting room before class has started. To do this, please make sure to either go to the designated URL provided by your teacher or enter in the Meeting ID.
For On-Demand Classes, make sure to check for assignments and educational resources on your ELMS class group in accordance with the instructions you receive from your teacher.
For Simulcast Classes, make sure your mic is set to mute on your video-conferencing software. If you do not mute yourself, your voice will be broadcast to both your teacher and your peers. Please only turn your microphone on when instructed by your teacher to do so during question and answer sessions.
For On-Demand Classes, you may be asked to watch class videos, turn in quizzes, and post on the class messaging board. For this reason, we suggest that you make sure to check the due dates for all of your assignments regularly in order to make sure you stay up to date on all of your classwork.
Finally, make sure to go through the Online Class Checklist to get yourself prepared to learn!
