At the Center for Open Education, we accept inquiries and questions regarding Online Learning. For this meeting, we chose to focus on several topics we often receive questions about: how to deal with foreign copyright material under the revised Copyright Act, how copyright law works for television shows and movies in long-distance classrooms, and how to directly display PowerPoint slides over Google Meet.
When assigning reports, it is important to consider how to provide evaluations and feedback. Hence, in this forum, our theme was creating rubrics for grading assignments. After providing verbal explanations for how to perform group assessments, create measures for assessment, make rubrics, and download reports, we conducted a practical demonstration for how to make rubrics and give grades.
Given the recent rise of Online Learning, many universities have created websites to help with its implementation. Thus, we introduced some websites from other universities that may be helpful. Furthermore, our collection of resources on this page also introduces some other web pages from different universities for further reference. We hope that you all are able to make use of this information.
We would like to thank all of our viewers today. Additionally, we offer a special thanks to those kind enough to answer questions in the chat while participating.
Today's materials are available in the following PDF (English available)
From here on out we will focus primarily on answering questions during these meetings. Depending on demand, we will still provide mini lectures and introduce cases. We look forward to your continued support in our endeavor to create a campus-wide community dedicated to sharing information concerning Online Learning.
