Hopefully by now, you are starting to feel more comfortable. I know this is a lot to take in. Please be sure to save these emails so that you can refer to them later. There are some basic things to cover yet to ensure that you fully understand our school policies. They are the Student Handbook and the Orientation Guide. We also have some videos you can watch: K-5 Class Connect, K-5 Attendance, and Middle and High School Tour. It is important that you view these videos before the first week of school.

• The Student Handbook: Please take time to review the handbook. While we know reading a school handbook takes time, it is important that you are aware of our school policies and expectations prior to the first day of school. If you have students in different grade levels, please be sure to read all appropriate handbooks.

• The Orientation Guide: Please review all the pages of the Orientation Guide for best success to start off the school year. The various pages in the guide cover many aspects of MNVA and I encourage you to familiarize yourself with them. The Orientation Guide also provides answers to frequently asked questions.
