Emails from a No Reply email sent to parents/learning coach email address stating your student has been marked for at least 1 unexcused absence the prior week.
If unexcused absences continue, a 3 Day Continuous Truancy Letter is sent to family to inform them of the child's truancy/educational neglect status and the repercussions of that. This letter may be sent alongside of the No Reply email if all unexcused absences were marked in the same week.
Attempted email/phone call made to parents to talk about attendance issues from MNVA's Engagement Counselor, Truancy Officer or a teacher.
If unexcused absences continue, a 7 day Habitual Truancy Letter is sent to the family to inform them of the child's truancy/educational neglect status and the repercussions of that.
Attempted email/phone call made to parents to talk about attendance issues from MNVA's Engagement Counselor, Truancy Officer or a Teacher.
If no improvements have been made, the Engagement Counselor or Truancy Officer will be making a referral to the county.
