950 3-D DESIGN ADVANCED
Grades 11, 12 * 1 Credit * Career Zone: AC
Prerequisite: Ceramics (945) or 3-D Design (1950)
Fulfills MMC graduation requirement toward 1.0 credit in Visual, Performing, or Applied Arts. Students enrolled in 3-D will explore in depth three-dimensional design through the making of bas-relief and full sculptural forms. Students will work with various tools and materials. The materials and techniques will include plaster casting and carving, woodcarving and assembly, clay sculptural techniques, assemblage and environmental installations.
