General  Best Working Practices For the Engineering Workspace 

Goggles to be worn by students at all times 

Good clean up routines - Benches to be cleaned down at end of lesson, floor to be swept vacuum cleaners available for vices. 

Bins to be organized for waste  removal on a Friday ( day to be arranged with Site Staff)

Work to be stored in appropriate place.

Off cuts to be stored in materials rack / shorter pieces to be placed on red material trolley.

Students not allowed to leave the class without permisson 

Bags to be placed on the workbench or in a way not to cause a trip hazard.

Entry and exit through design area door - students not to leave before end of a lesson
