Students can work  through grok academy , Some of the tasks may be too easy for you . Jump to design a monster task or use scratch to improve their coding skills. It is important you understand the program commands  and how to create  subroutines and loops.

Extension task . Complete a slide show which  gives examples of where coding is used in todays society,  Explain how the basic coding commands eg IF THEN help us make decisions. Describe how coding can be used to drive robots . All of these questions can be answered by google if you  ask the right question.

Students are working through a series of scratch activities through the GROK Academey 

There are 4 activities and a design task . Please make sure that students record the evidence at the end of each task and copy a screen shot onto a google doc.  Upload the link to the spreadsheet. Students started the activity yesterday and all have log ons .

Extension activity - Continue with touch typing or complete cybersmart game interland .
