In this 10 week project you will learn about
basic engineering workshop tools and processes,
fixed machine tools
surface finishing technique.
You will need to be observed carrying out basic engineering workshop skills
This will involve:
use and care of basic engineering workshop tools and equipment
using basic engineering workshop fixed machine tools
measuring machined components and comparing with specifications.
For this topic student will..need to read the attached technical drawings, make the toolmakers clamp to the required dimensions. complete the assessment booklet and submit an electronic copy in the assessment folder for evaluation.
