Water Supply

General

1. Potable and non-potable water will be supplied by Waikapu Country Town Association. DOE will pay a monthly fee to the association based on the usage.

2.  Waikapu Country Town has two wells for potable water and one for non-potable water.

3. Allocation:

   1. Potable: 1,900 person, 40 gallons per person per day

   2. Non-potable: 4,000 gallons per day per acre

   3. 2,000 gallons per minute for 2-hour duration at 20 psi for fire hydrants
