Status of Waikapū Area Housing Development

1. Kaulana Mahina Wailuku Apartments 

   • The construction of the project has been completed and occupied.

2. Waiolu at Kehalani 

   • The site infrastructure has been completed, and the majority of the lots have been sold to individual buyers.   Individual building permits have been applied for, and one (1) home is under construction.  

3. Puunani Homesteads 

   • The construction of the civil infrastructure is well underway, and the two (2) access roads to the subdivision are currently being constructed into Honoapiilani Highway 

4. Waikapu Country Town  

   • The construction plans for Phase I are currently being prepared for submittal to Maui County for review and comments soon. 

5. Wai'ale Project

   • The developer found Hawaiian burials in the property and terminated the development.

6. Kehalani Project

   • As of today, the Kehalani development project on Maui, Hawaii is largely considered complete, with the majority of residential homes built and the Kehalani Village Center (including commercial spaces like grocery stores and banks) fully operational; however, ongoing developments may include improvements to existing park areas and potential new phases of construction within the master-planned community.
