Lesson 17-19 Migration and Industry Socratic Seminar
This week is an important week, we will be taking the 8th Grade Wisconsin Forward Exam on Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, during this week we will do a Socratic Seminar focusing on three lessons in TCI.
Lesson 17 Tensions in the West -"How did settlers change the West and affect American Indians?"
Lesson 18- Rise of Industries - "Did the benefits of industrialization outweigh the costs? "
Lesson 19 The Great Wave of Immigration-"What was life like for immigrants in the early 1900s?"
Students will be given one lesson to focus on and create 5 supporting questions for their Socratic Seminar on Friday.

Lesson 18- Rise of Industries - Did the benefits of industrialization outweigh the costs? - Lesson 18 Sec 2 as a class
Lesson 19 The Great Wave of Immigration-"What was life like for immigrants in the early 1900s?" - Lesson 19 Section 1 done in class
