Tarrant County College Northeast Campus is excited to invite your students, families, teachers, and staff to join us for International Observe the Moon Night, an annual celebration of lunar observation, science, and space exploration.
Event Details
📅 Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
🕕 Time: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
📍 Location: TCC Northeast Campus, behind NSCW
🎟️ Cost: Free and open to the public
This family-friendly event offers an opportunity to explore the wonders of the Moon through guided telescope observations, and interactive learning experiences. Participants will learn about lunar science, current space exploration efforts, and the important role the Moon plays in our understanding of the universe.
We encourage students to bring their families, invite friends, and make an evening of it. Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets, relax under the night sky, and enjoy a unique opportunity to experience science and astronomy together as a community. Whether you are a lifelong space enthusiast or simply curious about the Moon, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in STEM fields, astronomy, physics, engineering, and space exploration to engage with science outside the classroom while connecting with faculty, staff, and community members who share a passion for discovery.
We would appreciate your help in sharing this invitation with your students, families, and staff. We hope to see many of your students represented as we come together to celebrate science, exploration, and the wonder of the night sky.

Important Information Regarding Edgenuity
Edgenuity is a program your student will most likely use while at the Collegiate Academy. We want to make sure all parents and students are aware of how it works and how CAHEB will be utilizing the program.
Edgenuity will be used in order to complete certain high school graduation requirements that are not covered by current or future dual credit classes. This specifically pertains to Business Information Management (if needed in 10th grade), Health (10th only), and Foreign Language. Please click the following link for a message from Stacy Force regarding Edgenuity.
Students need to meet the deadlines listed, or they will be pulled out of clubs & organizations until they are passing with a 70 and at the percentage benchmark.
Reminder: Students will need to devote time outside of the Edgenuity period on Fridays in order to complete the work. Students are welcome to finish the course as soon as they would like, before the December 11th deadline.
