"Who: Enzo Coreas
What: I'm a shy, quiet kid. My favorite subject is science and I enjoy cheeseburgers and boba.
When: When I graduate college, I would like to go to medical school at Baylor University to become an anesthesiologist.
Why: 'To be or not to be,' by William Shakespear. I want to be a part of saving someone's life and make a difference. I also want to make my family proud.
Change the World!"
"The symbols I used represent my personality and beliefs and likes. The flag in my hand represents my support for Palestine. The scale on my other hand represents my sense of justice and my dream to work in the criminal justice system. The moon and the sun represent my love for sports. The scene of the beach on my left hand represents my love for peace. The words on my right hand represent my goals I set for myself this year. My face represents where I am from. The mandala represents my creative side. My measuring hand represents my love for having things in order. My engineering hand represents my love for engineering and making things. The diamond represents my love for unique things. The TITAN represents the school I am going to. And the words on my right say, 'being different is the most beautiful thing on earth.' And the portrait represents my chaotic side."
"I included many books in my collage because I enjoy reading, and it is one of my favorite hobbies. I want to pursue it more this school year. I also included lots of notes and grades because being successful in school is important to me. The main color scheme is purple and green, as these are my two favorite colors."

When does an absence become an absence?
If a student is not present, he/she is absent. Attendance is taken each period throughout the school day. Exemptions and 90% attendance can be lost by being absent part or all of a day. The state determines attendance, and thus funding for the day is based on whether the student is present at the Official Attendance Time, which is 12:00 PM. at CAHEB. We appreciate your planning necessary healthcare appointments so that your student is not absent during the Official Attendance Time of 12:00 PM.
For more information, visit the Attendance Policy page on the HEB ISD website.
If you need to report your student's absence, please call 817.399.2951 or email AllisonSkrasek@hebisd.edu.
