Congratulations to the 2025-2026 CAHEB Campus Teacher of the Year!
"I would like to say she's an amazing person who is truly caring and very dependable. I think she is an amazing teacher on top of all that and she has a very helpful and joyful personality. When I am in her class, she makes us laugh and have a great time while finishing our work. Mrs. Case makes her class more fun and entertaining and her outfits are tea and she's also a great mom. I wouldn't trade Mrs. Case for the world. " ❤️ - Isabella R.H.
"Mrs. Case is always there for us and is very understanding. Whenever someone is struggling with something, whether it's in school or out, she is always willing to help, and she is so sweet and caring." - Youana K.
It is our pleasure to announce Mrs. Marylynne Case as the first ever Teacher of the Year for the Collegiate Academy of HEB ISD. Mrs. Case comes to us with eight years of experience teaching 7th grade On-level and Advanced Academics English, 9th grade Advanced Academics English and English IV.
Some of our students had this to say about Mrs. Case:
"Mrs. Case is a very caring and inspirational person in her own right, not just as a teacher. Her personality and understanding make my bad days 100% better than they were before stepping into her classroom. Not only is she a good teacher, but she is also a good role model. Before I came to her class, I had problems with English and wasn't getting the best grades, but her encouragement and motivation helped me succeed in her class. I love Mrs. Case and anybody would say the same!" - Payton T. <3
"I think that Mrs. Case really deserves being teacher of the year. She has made a safe space for her students and makes sure we feel included and equal. She is one of the best CAHEB teachers and this award is well deserved." - Kennedy B.
"Mrs. Case is very understanding and will always make sure to provide the best advice with school, and even personal adversaries that students face. She always helps us prepare and become a better person from the day before, and makes all the lessons into fun activities, which helps us understand the concept in an entertaining way. I'm super grateful for Mrs. Case for always making everything fun, while being respectful, maintaining the rules, and providing the best for our students. She deserves this award 100%!" - Seini T.
Congratulations to Our December Students of the Month!
"Exceptional students and people like Noah deserve to be recognized. He is a joy to have in class, and truly demonstrates the qualities of a model student. He is respectful, hardworking, reflective, smart, polite, and determined. Noah is a leader in class, working with his peers, volunteering to read, and offering wise words when other students need to hear them.”
“Fatima is a shining example of diligence, determination, and kindness. She exemplifies hard work every day in every facet of her academic life. She takes thorough notes, asks thoughtful questions to ensure mastery, and constantly pushes herself to grow—not just for today, but with her eyes on success years from now. Fatima is always looking to make herself and those around her better. This exceptional leadership is natural to Fatima, but it does not go unnoticed.”
Blood Typing in the Lab with Mrs. Bloodworth
This week, students completed a hands-on lab over blood typing in which they analyzed simulated blood samples to determine who would receive an inheritance in a family case study. By applying their understanding of the ABO blood system and multiple alleles, students worked through clues, compared results, and used evidence to solve the mystery. It was a fun and engaging way to connect genetics to real-world problem-solving!
On the 12th day of Christmas, my Titan gave to me...
Winter White Lie Day Fuzzy Socks Day Twin Day Holiday Headwear Day
"My skin is green." "I'm not a ginger." "I love BIM." "I can't swim." "I like to repeat myself 67 times."
"I have my lanyard today." "I have never been in a food fight." "Red Bull doesn't give me wings."
