This work will not be submitted but will provide a good foundation of knowledge that will give you a positive start with your course.
GCSE Physical Education would be beneficial however not compulsory. Continued participation in at least one individual sport, one team sport and one outdoor and adventurous activity will be very important in terms of assessment for unit 18.

Transition Work
This work is to be completed before starting your course. The work will be set on Taster Day and due in during the first full week of College. This work will be assessed alongside subject assessments and Attitude to Learning.
Students should spend time learning the musculo-skeletal system in preparation for the initial assessment in unit 1.
